Leavitt Says Epstein Emails “Prove Nothing,” Which Is Why Trump Just Held a Classified Briefing About Them

WASHINGTON, D.C. — White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt assured Americans Wednesday that the newest batch of Epstein emails “prove absolutely nothing”—a bold statement delivered just hours after President Donald Trump convened a Situation Room meeting with enough senior officials to prepare for a meteor impact.

Leavitt insisted the emails—some of which include Epstein saying Trump “knew about the girls” and spent “hours” with a victim—are “fake hoaxes manufactured by Democrats,” though she declined to explain why a “hoax” required a secure, classified briefing involving Pam Bondi, Todd Blanche, Kash Patel and Lauren Boebert.

Reporters pressed Leavitt on the contradiction, noting that the administration’s frantic bunker-level handling of the story suggested the exact opposite of her assurances. She responded by adjusting her cross necklace and declaring, “This administration has done more for transparency on Jeffrey Epstein than any administration ever.”

Meanwhile, Trump allies scrambled to convince the public the emails don’t matter—right as Trump himself played phone tag with Nancy Mace to discuss the very emails that supposedly don’t matter.

When asked why a “non-issue” required emergency coordination between the White House, the DOJ and a congresswoman still banned from at least one theatre, Leavitt sighed and said, “There are no coincidences in Washington.”

On that point, at least, no one disagreed.
