Leavitt: “Judges Have No Right to Stop Trump From Ignoring the Law”

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a blistering press briefing on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at the federal judiciary for doing what she called “a deeply inappropriate amount of judging.”

“President Trump is trying to restore order, greatness, and extremely online masculinity to this country,” Leavitt said. “And these rogue judges keep getting in the way by citing laws and precedent—as if that matters anymore.”

The remark came in response to a growing number of court rulings that have blocked elements of Trump’s executive agenda, including his efforts to terminate birthright citizenship, liquidate various federal departments, and install Elon Musk as “Overlord of Efficiency.”

When asked by a reporter whether the administration acknowledged the concept of checks and balances, Leavitt snapped back. “This isn’t a civics class—the president was elected to lead, not to be interrupted by nerds in robes.”

Another reporter questioned whether the White House believes court rulings should be followed at all. Leavitt countered again: “We follow the law we believe in. The only mandate that matters is the one the American people gave President Trump.”

In a post on Truth Social, Trump echoed the sentiment: “BAD JUDGES everywhere! They block everything I do—probably jealous! Very FAKE legal minds! Total disgrace!!! Constitution says I’M THE PRESIDENT—look it up!”
