France Tries to Reclaim Statue of Liberty — Trump Threatens to Replace It with Bronze Bust of Marjorie Taylor Greene

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After a French politician called for the return of the Statue of Liberty, President Trump fired back Monday with a bold counteroffer: “We’ll give her back, but we’re putting up something even better. A beautiful, very powerful bust of Marjorie Taylor Greene. Maybe the greatest bust of all time—and very bronze.”

The announcement came during an impromptu press conference from the White House lawn, where Trump stood beside a mock-up of the Greene sculpture, crudely carved from limestone and spray-painted bronze. “We’re still workshopping the face,” he admitted, “but the rage is there. You can feel it.”

Asked whether the bust truly represents liberty, Trump doubled down: “She’s got the spirit. She’s got the fire. And frankly, she’s jacked,” Trump said of Greene. “France gave us a statue. We’re giving the world a warrior.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praised the idea as “a modern, more relatable symbol of liberty,” calling Greene “the voice of the un-silenceable majority.”

Meanwhile, France clarified it does not actually expect Lady Liberty’s return, prompting Trump to accuse them of “playing hard to get.”

“This is typical France,” Trump said. “First they give you something, then they want it back, then they say they didn’t want it. It’s like dating Melania all over again.”
