‘He’s a Complete Joke’: GOP Lawmakers Finally Admit They Despise Musk Now That It’s Convenient

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After months of faking admiration for Elon Musk’s “genius,” House Republicans are privately unloading: turns out they hated him the entire time.

“He’s a complete joke,” one GOP member admitted privately. “Had no clue what he was doing. He’d wander into meetings wearing a Dogecoin hat, call us ‘NPCs,’ and then try to redesign NASA mid-sentence. We couldn’t wait to get rid of him.”

The sudden honesty followed Musk’s social media tirade against Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” which he called a “disgusting abomination.” Publicly, Trump played it cool; privately, lawmakers say he was “pissed off,” venting about Musk for half an hour in a closed-door meeting.

Republicans now insist their secret disgust had been simmering for months but was suppressed out of fear of Musk’s $420 billion fortune and army of crypto teens. “It’s hard to criticize a guy who can personally buy your town and turn it into a Mars training colony,” one member admitted.

Still, some Republicans remain cautiously supportive. “I think Elon makes fair points,” said Rep. Ryan Zinke, before clarifying, “about space travel, not politics.”

For now, Musk remains defiant, promising to “expose every fake politician,” while the GOP quietly enjoys hating him out loud for once.
