Palantir CEO Defends Support of Trump, Citing Historic Growth in the Surveillance State Sector
DENVER — Palantir CEO Alex Karp reaffirmed his loyalty to President Trump this week, praising him for “unlocking the market potential of mass surveillance.”
“Trump believes in strong borders, strong leadership, and even stronger algorithms,” Karp said, visibly ecstatic. “Under his administration, we’re closer than ever to achieving what Orwell once dreamed of: a country where every action is observable and every citizen finally feels… seen.”
“People call it a Surveillance State,” Karp said, adjusting a smartwatch that reportedly syncs with 400 million other devices. “I call it a Peace Machine. One that knows exactly where everyone is, what they’re saying, and whether they’re thinking about saying it.”
“It’s not about spying,” Karp explained. “It’s about keeping the human organism calm. When every cell knows it’s being watched, the whole body behaves.”
Asked whether that sounded dystopian, Karp laughed. “Dystopia’s just what people call surveillance before they get used to it,” he said. “Give it time. The feeling of being constantly observed grows on you. Literally.”
