Trump Calls Springsteen a “Dried Out Prune,” Accidentally Roasts Himself in Process
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump lashed out at Bruce Springsteen this week, calling the rock legend a “dried out prune,” apparently unaware that most Americans describe him the same way, just with more orange coloring.
“Bruce is very dried out, very wrinkled,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Nobody wants to see that—very sad prune rocker. He has to play in England now—nobody in America wants to hear him, they want to hear me.”
Springsteen, performing overseas, had blasted Trump’s “corrupt and treasonous” administration. In response, Trump not only attacked the rocker’s appearance but suggested Beyoncé should be investigated “for being at that Kamala rally.”
The rant marks Trump’s latest feud with famous musicians, following previous attacks on Taylor Swift, Neil Young, and the ghost of John Lennon.
“Look, Bruce may be old, but Trump looks like a rotisserie chicken that fell behind the couch and was rediscovered after three summers,” said one Springsteen fan. “At least Bruce can still play guitar. Trump can’t even drink water with one hand.”
Trump ended his post by promising “major revenge” against Springsteen when the tour comes back to America—“We’ll see who’s dried out when I bring the Diet Coke.”
